90-Day Limited Warranty

 


We take immense pride in our refurbishing and modification process. To give you peace of mind, all refurbished and custom-built consoles from Pinnacle Collectibles come with a 90-Day Limited Warranty, beginning on the date of delivery.

What is Covered

 

Our 90-day warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship related to the refurbishment process. This includes:

  • Newly Installed Components: Faulty replacement parts, including IPS LCD screens, new speakers, upgraded batteries, and custom buttons/membranes.

  • Workmanship & Labor: Issues stemming directly from the installation or modification process (e.g., loose soldering, screen alignment issues).

  • Original Hardware Functionality: General failure of the OEM motherboard, cartridge readers, or original ports during normal, intended use within the 90-day window.

What is NOT Covered

 

Due to the vintage nature of these electronics, our warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental Damage: Drops, impacts, spills, or water damage.

  • Improper Power Supply: Damage caused by using incorrect voltage, unverified third-party chargers, or "fast chargers" that overload vintage power management components.

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Cosmetic blemishes, scratches on the shell or screen lens that occur after delivery.

  • Software & Game Saves: Loss of save data on vintage cartridges or issues arising from the use of third-party flash carts.

Voiding the Warranty

 

To protect the integrity of our builds and the safety of the devices, this warranty is strictly void if the console is opened, disassembled, or modified by the customer. We utilize internal documentation and discreet tamper-evident seals to verify the hardware remains exactly as it was when shipped.

 

How to Claim Your Warranty

 

If you experience an issue covered under this policy within your 90-day window:

  1. Contact Support: Email us at pinnaclecollectibles@gmail.com with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and a short video or photos demonstrating the problem.

  2. Assessment: If your claim is authorized, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and provide shipping instructions. Pinnacle Collectibles covers the cost of return shipping for valid domestic warranty claims.

  3. Resolution: Upon receiving and inspecting the device, our technicians will repair the defect at no cost. If a repair is not possible, we will offer a replacement of equal value or store credit.
